Young Enterprise Awards 2010Young Enterprise Grampian were delighted to welcome top business entrepreneur and founder of one of the most successful, innovative and funky products and brands in the market today, innocent Drinks Richard Reed, as special guest judge and speaker at the 2010 Awards.
The Young Enterprise Grampian Awards 2010 took place on Tuesday 27th April at The Marcliffe Hotel, Aberdeen. It was attended by over 200 local business people who enjoyed hearing from local young business entrepreneur Aisha Kasim, owner of Madame Hair and winner of of the Princes Youth Business Trust Grampian Region Award of the year in 2009, followed by innocent drinks Richard Reed. The Overall Winner was Alba Hampers of Inverurie Academy who set-up and very successfully ran a luxury gift company.The other 2010 Young Enterprise Grampian Awards finalists were: Beadazzle, a designer and maker of jewellery from recycled costume jewllery, Fraserburgh Academy. Buttons & Badges, a hand-crafted jewellery, painted t-shirts and paint-splattered shoes producer, Bridge of Don Academy, Aberdeen. La Belle Vie, whose products included sweet bags, pashminas and pearl jewellery, St Margaret’s School for Girls, Aberdeen.
